About Me
Aaron King, an imaginative and skilled public relations professional, has more than (8) eight years of industry experience in media relations, strategic communications, media planning, social media and content development. Aaron offers an exceptional blend of digital marketing strategy acumen and agile communications skills. He is known for his collaborative spirit, the expertise of various social media channels, and his “can do” attitude.
In 2018, Aaron joined the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA), a local regulatory agency, to build, grow and operate the agency’s communications efforts. ABRA’s mission is to support the public’s health, safety and welfare through the control and regulation of the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages.
Prior to ABRA, Aaron served in public relations and communications positions and start-ups in education, video production, healthcare and politics throughout the east coast. He previously held the position of Account Executive of Silverline Communications. Aaron was a Media Planner Assitant for Smart Media Group and held the positions of "the intern" for many other companies.

What made you get into public relations?
From what I can remember I have always like enjoyed telling stories and having conversations and then I learned that I could do that and get paid to do it. I enjoy being creative and seeing ideas go from conception to fruition.What is your working style?
I enjoy working in groups and collaborating with others in order to work toward a common goal. I believe that everyone doesn’t have to be the smartest person in the room, but they just need to realize that they are in the same room.What are you career goals?
In the future, I would like to work in a space where I am constantly learning and have the ability to be witty and creative. Whether it is working internally or with external clients, I would like to make campaigns that will make a positive impact on social change.
What is your ideal work culture?
An environment where employees are seen as humans and everyone respects others opinions and makes an effort to make everyone feel comfortable.What is your managing style?
I am certified in Kanban System Design for Marketing and Communications which I use constantly for management. I have a Kanban board that is adapted to work for communications efforts and also gives me a visual of what projects are in progress and how to get it to completion.Where are you from?
